The Passenger Project is an initiative to build awareness and advocate for change to support those looking to overcome mental health challenges.

Our Mission. The Passenger Project was formed to share resources and advocate for children and young adults with anxiety and OCD. By breaking down the obstacles, mental health care and support will hopefully become more accessible than many have experienced.

Behind the Name. Inpired by the acclaimed Dr. Steven Hayes’s metaphor for our thoughts—the “passengers on the bus of life”—and how we learn to live with them.

The Passenger Project aims to make the journey from diagnosis to adaptability and ambition less cumbersome, and confusing for those with anxiety as passengers together on this path. The Passenger Project will serve as a guide and checklist to find the access and resources for treatment, educational supports, and family support by pooling our knowledge and experiences with a common purpose. We wish we knew then what we know now, and that’s why The Passenger Project was formed.
